Operator-Facing Portal

The Tenant Connect® Operator Portal allows operators to configure and manage the tenant-facing Tenant Connect experience. From the Operator Portal, operators can:

  • Customize company branding.
  • Connect facilities through a Facility Management Software (FMS).
  • Configure gate access settings.
  • Create and manage QR codes.
  • Review gate activity.
  • Manage payments, notifications, and support settings.

Note: The Operator Portal is used by facility staff and administrators. Customers interact with the Tenant-Facing Portal, not the Operator Portal.

Dashboard

The Dashboard provides a high-level overview of your Tenant Connect configuration. Use the Dashboard to:

  • Review setup status.
  • Access frequently used areas.
  • Monitor important configuration items.

Navigation Menu

The left navigation menu provides access to the main areas of Tenant Connect.

Section Description
Dashboard View an overview of your Tenant Connect configuration.
Subdomains Configure branded Tenant Connect websites.
Integrations Connect and manage Facility Management Software (FMS) integrations.
QR Codes Create, download, and manage QR codes.
Facilities View connected facilities and assign them to subdomains.
Gate Management View gates, test controls, and review gate details.
Gate Access Logs Review gate access activity and troubleshooting information.
Access Hours Create and manage access hour templates.
Vendors Manage vendor and employee access.
Company Settings Configure payments, notifications, support, and tenant access settings.

Initial Setup

When configuring Tenant Connect for the first time, complete the following steps:

  1. Connect your facility management software (FMS)
  2. Create a subdomain & brand your tenant portal, including:
    • Company branding
    • Contact information
    • Rental website
    • Default settings
  3. Assign facilities to the appropriate subdomain - required for tenants to access the facility landing page
  4. Create QR codes to direct tenants to facility landing pages or gate access points
  5. Configure company settings, including:
    • Payment settings
    • Notification settings
    • Support settings
    • Tenant access settings
    • Access hour settings
  6. Test facility configurations before deployment, including:
    • QR codes
    • Gate access
    • Branding & facility information
    • Payment & auction options
    • If using G.O.A.T. - facility access hours
  7. Deploy QR codes
    • Download QR codes
    • Print & install signage

Ongoing Management

After setup is complete, use the Operator Portal to:

  • Review Gate Access Logs.
  • Update company settings.
  • Manage vendors and employees.
  • Create new QR codes.
  • Modify access hours.
  • Update branding or facility information.
