DaVinci Lock®: Subscription FAQs
Effective January 30, 2024, we introduced DaVinci Lock®+, a tiered subscription model designed to unlock a world of benefits and enhanced features.
What is the DaVinci Lock® subscription?
DaVinci Lock® is a monthly subscription that enables automated tenant access, messaging, and platform integrations for your facility. Subscriptions unlock key features such as automated unlock code delivery, Tenant Connect functionality, and G.O.A.T. gate access with supported integrations.
How do I enroll in a DaVinci Lock® subscription?
You're automatically enrolled in a subscription when integrating your facilities with a supported facility management software. For questions about subscriptions, or to learn about white-glove onboarding, email subscriptions@davincilock.com.
What is the value of enrolling is a subscription?
The DaVinci Lock® subscription helps operators automate tenant access and reduce manual tasks. Key benefits include:

How does subscription billing work?
Subscriptions are billed monthly based on the number of locks actively used at your facility. Invoices are generated on the first of each month for the prior month’s lock usage. Read about what lock statuses count towards usage here.
Can I pay month-to-month or am I locked into a contract?
No. DaVinci Lock® subscriptions operate on a month-to-month basis. To cancel, a written, 20-day notice is required.
What payment methods are accepted?
Subscriptions can be paid for using a credit card or ACH account. By enrolling in a subscription, you agree to provide a valid payment method, and authorize DaVinci Lock® to store the card information and charge such card for all fees due during the term of your subscription(s).
What is the automated renewal policy?
You acknowledge and agree that at the end of the initial subscription term your subscriptions will automatically renew on a month-to-month basis, unless you provide DaVinci Lock® written notice at least 20 days before the end of the relevant subscription term.
If I choose to cancel my subscription, when do I need to give notice?
DaVinci Lock® requires 20-day notice to cancel your subscription. You may send notice of non-renewal by email to subscriptions@davincilock.com.
Are partial month refunds available?
No. Subscription fees are billed monthly and partial month refunds are not issued.
Do I need a subscription to use DaVinci Locks®?
No. You can continue using your physical locks without a subscription. For security, it is recommended that any purchased DaVinci Locks are activated to your DaVinci Lock account. While not required to enroll in a subscription, without a subscription you will not have access to features:
- Integration with supported facility management software
- Automatic delivery of unlock codes via SMS and email
- Self-service tenant access through Tenant Connect
- Automated gate access using G.O.A.T.
