Lock Statuses

A locks status can be updated to reflect one of the following:

Available

The lock is available and not currently being used.

When a new rental/delinquent payment is completed, update the lock from "Assigned Vacant" or "Assigned Overlock" back to "Available" before reassigning to another unit. This ensures the unlock code is removed from the original unit in your facility management software (FMS).

Unassigned
 Assigned Vacant

 The lock is securing a vacant unit.

 *Unlock and New Rental notification is sent out to   tenant if integrated with your facility management   software (FMS) and enabled.

 Assigned
Assigned Overlock

The lock is securing to a delinquent unit.

*Unlock and Delinquency Paid notification is sent to tenant if integrated with your facility management software (FMS) and enabled.

Assigned
 Returned to Dropbox  The lock is assumed to have been returned to a drop   box or a manager at the facility.  Assigned
 Tenant Using Lock

 The lock is being used by a tenant.

*For security, unlock codes for locks in the "tenant using lock" status display ****, designed to limit access to unlock codes based on user role. All users, except client personnel, can retrieve the unlock code by clicking on the eye. Any time an unlock code for a lock in the "tenant using lock" status is retrieved, a record will appear in the lock's log history.

Assigned Auction

The lock is securing to a unit being auctioned.

*Notifications are not sent to tenants after payment.

Assigned
 On Dropbox  The lock is securing a drop box.  Assigned
 Assigned Other  The lock is being used in another capacity not listed.  Assigned
 Assigned Vendor  The lock is being used by a vendor.  Assigned
Damaged The lock is damaged and cannot be used. Unassigned
  Lost  The lock cannot be found.  Unassigned
Unscannable The lock is unscannable and not being used. Unassigned
