Assign or Edit a Lock

To assign or edit a lock:

1. Open the DaVinci Lock® app on a mobile device.

2. Tap “Locks”, navigate to the "Manage" tab.

3. Select the facility.

4. Locate the lock to be assigned or edited by manually entering or scanning the lock’s serial code using the camera.

*If re-assigning a lock that is already assigned to another unit OR in the "returned to dropbox" status, first update the lock's status to "available" and save, then re-assign the lock to its new status and/or unit number. This will ensure the code for the lock is removed from the original unit in your facility management software (FMS).

5. Tap the pencil icon and update the status and/or unit number.

6. Once updated, tap “Confirm & Update” to save.

7. Sync any changes.
