Any locks in the "Returned to Dropbox" status can be viewed via a report on the DaVinci Lock® portal. The process returned locks report can be used as a tool to confirm lock inventory and determine if any fees need to be applied to tenant accounts for lost or damaged locks, lock rentals, etc.
- For customers with a Basic subscription, a lock's status will automatically update to "Returned to Dropbox" when a tenant pays their delinquent balance. Locks in the "Assigned Vacant" status will remain in "Assigned Vacant".
- For customers with a Plus+ or Premium subscription, a lock's status can be customized following a new move-in or upon payment of a delinquent balance.
To process locks that have been returned:
1. Sign in to your DaVinci Lock® account.
2. Click "Locks", navigate to the "Process Returned" tab.
3. Filter the report by date or facility.
4. Confirm the locks have been physically returned.
5. Update lock status.
6. Select a user to receive the report via email.
7. Click "Process & Send Email".
