Delinquency Notifications

Tenant notifications are determined by the specific facility management software (FMS) and subscription tier of the account. All subscription tiers include automated tenant notifications when integrated with an FMS. With a Plus+ or Premium subscription, tenants can also retrieve combination(s) via the Text-to-Release feature, if enabled.

storEDGE, SiteLink, Easy Storage Solutions, & Self Storage Manager Cloud

Upon paying their delinquent balance, tenants will receive an SMS or email notification from DaVinci Lock® with the name of the facility and combination(s) for their unit(s). To ensure tenants receive their combination(s), they must be opted into SMS notifications. No additional action is required to enable this feature. Tenants can also request combination(s) via the OverlockRelease.com portal, if enabled.

Hummingbird & Web Self Storage

Upon paying their delinquent balance, tenants will receive an SMS or email notification from DaVinci Lock® with the name of the facility and combination(s) for their unit(s). To ensure tenants receive their combination(s), confirm that they have opted into SMS notifications. No additional action is required to enable this feature. 

Self Storage Manager Legacy

To enable tenant notifications, log in to Self Storage Manager, navigate to system settings > SMS. Add the SMS phone number, SMS Auth ID, SMS Token, and save. For information on how to provide notification of combinations(s) for delinquent, contact Self Storage Manager Legacy Support.

DoorSwap (formerly DomicoCloud)

6Storage

To ensure that tenants receive combination(s) when paying their account balance, ensure the serial code and combination have been migrated from the DaVinci Lock® portal to the tenant profile page in 6Storage.

With the information stored in 6Storage, create an automated template by navigating to 6Storage > Settings > Documents > Notification Templates. Find the Auto Grant template in the email section of the templates, and Auto Grant Access in the SMS section of the templates, and add verbiage and the macro for the combination(s). Upon paying their delinquent balance, the auto grant notification will be sent to tenants via SMS, email, or both, with the combination(s) for their unit(s).
