Why did a lock in the "Assigned Overlock" status automatically update to "Returned to Dropbox"?

To simplify the lock return process, automated background systems may trigger updates based on a lock's status. As a result, the lock status may change, and the "Updated by" column in the lock inventory report will indicate "System."

  • With a Basic subscription, a lock's status will automatically update to “Returned to Dropbox” when a tenant pays their delinquent balance. Locks assigned to vacant units will remain in the "Assigned Vacant" status.
  • With a Plus+ or Premium subscription, a lock's status can be automated to update to a new status following a new move-in or upon payment of a delinquent balance.
